School Information Technology

The School of Information Technology is moderately integrated with the School of Computer Science

Information Technology (IT) is a field concerned with the use of technology in managing and processing information. IT provides supports the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and retrieve information. IT is a field which aids in making useful and sustainable the technology which Computer Science provides.

Note: more than one Wikiversity school can 'contain' departments that are 'contained' by "Topic:Information Technology"; schools should cooperate to develop the departments that they have in common. No turf wars should be fought over "ownership" of departments.
